Fashion portraits

While Walking Pictures are the main focus of this project, inevitably the cheap and cheerful studio portraits come our way. Postcard sized shots done in studios across the country and supplied on postcards as a cheap alternative to more expensive portrait photography.  Formal but still interesting, especially when they are properly dated and so help date the fashions of the time. Here are three examples.
